Municipal Court is held at 3:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at the Cave Spring City Hall Courtroom, 10 Georgia Avenue. There are exceptions to this date if it falls on a holiday. Court dates are indicated on citations. < Back MUNICIPAL COURT The Honorable Steve Burkhalter Presiding Judy Dickinson, Court Clerk Marley Peals, Deputy Court Clerk Municipal Court is held at 3:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at the Cave Spring City Hall Courtroom, 10 Georgia Avenue. There are exceptions to this date if it falls on a holiday. Court dates are indicated on citations. Accident or incident reports will be available at City Hall three business days after actual incident date. Directions Payment of Fines If a case does not mandate a court appearance, fines may be paid at any time before the scheduled court date in person at City Hall between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Only cash, bank checks, and money orders are accepted and should be received no later than 3 p.m. on the day of court. Payments also can be mailed with a copy of citation to: In person payments: Cash, Certified Check, Money Orders or Debit/Credit Cards Pay Online Credit/Debit cards accepted. Payments by Mail: City of Cave Spring P.O. Box 365 Cave Spring, GA 30124 Fine amounts Fines are set by the judge following state guidelines, and the amount depends upon the offense. Downtown Development Authority (DDA) purpose or mission is to revitalize, develop, promote, and finance projects and general welfare within the downtown area DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (DDA) The Downtown Development Authority is a body of seven members created and appointed by the City Council and recognized by the State of Georgia as a public entity with a specified set of powers and a specific purpose or mission to: Revitalize and redevelop the downtown business district of Cave Spring Develop and promote for the public good and general welfare, trade commerce, industry, and employment opportunities and promote the general welfare of the city and state by creating a climate favorable to the location of new industry, trade and commerce within the downtown area. Finance projects within the downtown business district that will develop and promote the public good and general welfare. If you wish to start a business or invest in Cave Spring, please email the Downtown Development Authority at DDADIR@cityofcavespring.com .
