Historic Downtown Cave Spring
Join us for a full day of Halloween fun featuring coffin races, carnival games, a costume contest, the Skeleton Fun Run, and the annual Downtown Halloween Parade. There's something for every age, so come early, stay late, and enjoy a spooky day in Historic Downtown Cave Spring!
Coffin Races- Located at City Hall
12:00 PM – Team Check-In
1:30 PM – Race Begins
6:00 PM – Parade Line-Up
Build it. Race it. Win it!
Teams of five will race their custom-built, human-powered coffins down the course in this Halloween-meets-derby competition. Spectators are encouraged to cheer on their favorite teams!
Costume Contest: Located at The Lumberyard (22B Broad Street)
Registration: 4:30 PM
Contest Begins: 5:00 PM
Show off your Halloween spirit by wearing your best costume! Categories will be available for all ages, so everyone is welcome to participate.
Fall Festival Games
Located at The Lumberyard
4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Bring the whole family for an evening of classic carnival games, spooky prizes, face painting, and fall treats.
Admission is FREE!
Skeleton Fun Run (0.5K)
Kick off the Downtown Halloween Parade by leading the ghouls and goblins through downtown during the Cave Spring Skeleton Fun Run!
This fun 0.5K event is perfect for runners, walkers, families, and participants of all ages. Costumes are encouraged!
Gather your family and friends, put on your favorite Halloween costume, and join us for a fun-filled kickoff to the parade!
Downtown Halloween Parade
6:30 PM
Watch decorated floats, racing coffins, costumed kids, local businesses, community groups, classic vehicles, and even four-legged friends show off their Halloween spirit.
Costumes are encouraged for participants and spectators of all ages!
